Top Face Creams for Dry Skin…
As the cooler months approach, many of us will notice changes in our skin…dryness being one of the top factors. And believe it or not, dry skin (especially on the face and neck) is one of the common symptoms we hear from women going through breast cancer treatments as well. No matter what season or journey you’re on, dry skin seems to affect us all and today we’re sharing some of our top favorite creams to keep your skin hydrated!
For me personally, I have very seasonal combo skin. I can go from dry to oily quickly and it’s always a challenge to find something that will work for all seasons (as for me personally, I like routine and not having to wonder if for the next 3-5 months I need to change up my skin routine.) So the items I’m sharing today are what work great for my skin to stay hydrated without looking oily too!
TOP FACE CREAMS
Hands down my number one go to (even my husband and daughter use this.)It’s inexpensive, you can find it at your local grocery store and it has YEARS worth of great reviews. It’s great if you also have sensitive skin and it lasts forever (a little bit goes a long way). And for a bit thicker version of the CeraVe line, try CeraVe Baby. I bought this when our daughter was born and it’s more of a lotion than a cream; our daughter didn’t use it very often, so I didn’t want it to go to waste and found that I actually liked the thicker version in the winter months.
The Better Skin Co –
They make an amazing super shield serum that protects, hydrates and renews your skin. The formula includes an anti-inflammatory herb white horehound, as well as turmeric, aloe and pearl powder for a weightless finish while protecting your complexion against harmful environmental pollutants. To top all of that off, if you purchase it this October, 100% of proceeds will be donated back to iGoPink!
Thrive Causemetics CC Cream
First of all, we have a huge love for Thrive at iGoPink as they are a massive in kind donor towards our Feeling Beautiful Again bags! We truly can’t thank them enough on behalf of the patients we serve. What makes their brands amazing is not only how they give to empower women, but, their products are vegan + cruelty free! So not only do we love it for those reasons, but the quality of their products are out of this world. Their buildable CC cream is perfect for a hint of tinted moisturizer. It’s not too heavy (yet you can layer and make it a more full coverage) but it also has SPF 35and vitamin C in it making it a multi-functional cream.
Eucerin Advanced Repair –
Another drugstore/grocery store find, their line of creams have been ones that my grandmother always referred to us and it ALWAYS worked (face, hands, elbows, you name it). Nothing fancy here, but each of their moisturizers are a different thickness or tend to have SPF or vitamin C or the extra nutrients that your skin needs.
When it boils down to skin care and dry skin, it’s very manageable with the right products (that also don’t have to break the bank) to keep your face hydrated and looking alive!
