Healthy AND Delicious Protein Powders…
Protein powders can be a great addition to your diet. They generally provide enough protein to serve as a good snack in between meals or even serve as a meal in itself (hello, morning protein smoothies). Including protein powder in your healthy diet can help in reducing your risk for breast cancer. You can find great tasting protein powders that provide a good amount of protein, with low sugars and carbs in them. Here are some of my favorite delicious AND healthy protein powders finds.
The trial and error process of finding that perfect protein powder to include in your smoothies, overnight oats, or other recipes can be a challenge, and a bit on the pricier side. Trust me I know the pains of spending your hard earned dollars on a protein powder that tastes like grass and chalk. I’m not married to one specific protein and do have a couple of go-to’s that I like to rotate!
Quest Nutrition Cold Brew Coffee Latte
Blend with some frozen banana, ice, and vanilla almond milk and you have your favorite frozen coffee beverage for breakfast. Or you can mix it with hot or cold brewed coffee for your morning pick me up with some additional benefits!
Power Crunch Double Chocolate
Literally the creamiest, chocolate-iest, best chocolate protein powder out there. In all honesty I’ve made it into chocolate milk multiple times for a sweet treat at night. Must have for you chocolate lovers out there!
Vega Sport Premium Protein in Vanilla
If you run more on a plant based diet, Vega Sport is my favorite plant based protein powder out there. I love mixing a scoop of the vanilla flavor in with my overnight oats to help keep me full through lunch. It mixes great with all different fruit combos!
1Up Nutrition Cinnamon French Toast
I love adding this protein to a big batch of oatmeal or grits in the fall in winter. It makes for a great cozy breakfast in the colder mornings. Also love blending it with some almond milk, ice, and plain non-fat yogurt for a delicious cinnamon smoothie.
Vital Proteins Collagen & Peptides
First, most of the proteins in your body are collagen. Second, who wouldn’t love to incorporate a flavorless protein into their day?! You can mix it with cold water, hot coffee, in your pancakes, literally anywhere to get that extra protein boost in your meal.
The right protein powder can be a great addition to your diet and help reduce your risk for breast cancer through overall healthy eating and living. What are some of your favorite protein powders and recipes? Be sure to share and #iGoPink.
