“It was such a nice surprise to receive such an uplifting gift, especially when you are feeling very unattractive.”

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2017 and am still undergoing treatment. After I came out of my reconstruction surgery I received a special gift. The Breast Cancer Charities of America had sent their beauty bags to the hospital I was recieving treatment, and the nurse I had gifted me the bag. It was such a nice surprise to receive such an uplifting gift, especially when you are feeling very unattractive.

My favorite part about the beauty bag was the Lush Body Care and the Create Wellness booklet. Knowing that iGoPink cares enough to include all-natural beauty products really meant a lot, because my skin has become very sensitive after treatment. The bag came to me when I needed it most! I’ve learned how important it is to ask for help when you need it most, even when you are used to doing everything yourself.

I’ve had to change my lifestyle so much since being diagnosed, and forcing myself to get active and outside every day has been a goal of mine. But my family and grandkids have made it so much easier, they truly bring me so much support and I’m so thankful to have them!
