4 Healthy Pizza Recipes You Will Love…

In case you weren’t aware National Pizza Party day is this Friday, giving us all a reason to indulge in our favorite carby-cheesy staple. And while I am a huge advocate for your local cheesy, greasy, pizza stop, I’ve defiantly been doing my due diligence in finding a better alternative to enjoy my favorite slices. Here are some healthy, at-home pizza options you can make using my favorite brand of pizza crust Flatzza! These recipes will have a pizza your heart! Use this crust as the base for all the pizza recipes and cook according to the directions on the package for the best results.

Also, pro-tip each pack has two crusts. So, you can make two different pizzas for your pizza party on Friday night!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pesto Spread
  • ½ cup Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 sprigs fresh basil chopped
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • ½ cup chopped marinated artichoke hearts

Instructions:

  • Drizzle the olive oil on the crust then spread a thin layer of pesto. Top with the cheese, basil, spinach and artichokes. Cook as prompted by directions.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ – ½ cup marinara sauce
  • ½ tube Hot Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 5-8 slices Canadian Bacon (chopped)
  • 5/8 slices Genoa Salami (chopped)
  • ½ cup Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup sliced sweet onions

Instructions:

  • In a skillet, break up and cook the turkey breakfast sausage fully. While cooking chop the Canadian bacon, genoa salami, mushrooms and onions. Spread the marinara over the crust (I like mine saucy but I know some like it on the lighter side). Sprinkle the cheese and evenly distribute the sausage, Canadian bacon, salami, mushrooms and onions. Stick in the oven based on the directions on the Flatzza package.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ – ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 1 package Canadian bacon (chopped)
  • ½ cup chopped and drained pineapple ( I like fresh but canned is easier)
  • 1 jalapeno sliced
  • ½ cup Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions:

  • Chop the Canadian bacon, pineapples (if using fresh), and jalapeno. Spread the marinara sauce and sprinkle the cheese over the Flatzza crust. Evenly distribute the Canadian bacon, pineapple, and jalapeno and bake according to the package directions.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ – ½ cup marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan
  • ¼ cup Feta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • ¼ cup fresh, pitted olives
  • ½ cup sliced sweet onion
  • ½ cup sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup chopped roasted garlic

Instructions:

  • In all honesty anything fresh from the garden you love you can throw on this pizza! I tend to try to put a little of everything and try not to weigh it down with too much sauce (it can get soggy with all the water veggies tend to hold). But lightly sauce and cheese the crust, add your toppings, and throw in the oven!
