The Breast Cancer Charities of America and the iGoPink campaign is committed to bringing education to Universities nationwide.  As the age of breast cancer patients continues to get younger and younger, BCCA is reaching out to universities to work with their gyms, health centers, sororities, food services and female based student body programs to bring a new approach to breast cancer.

By using the iGoPink campaign, a fashion forward movement to bringing awareness to breast cancer, college aged students are opening up to the idea of talking about breast cancer and how nutrition and exercise really can play a huge role in preventing breast cancer.

We approach the topic of breast cancer by saying, ‘We’re not your mother’s breast cancer foundation’…you’re not going to see a traditional brochure that has uncomfortable photos/unapproachable topics to discuss, but rather a fashion-forward with almost a touch of pop-culture approach to talking about breast cancer.

As women, we know that breast cancer is something that will happen to 1 in 8 of us, so we need to be aware of what we can be doing…and the younger we start the educational process on this, the better.   Thus came the University Education Program.

KNOW YOUR BODY—it’s one of the key messages we express through our University Education Program.
