Grab your bags and map and hit these top 5 travel destinations of 2018
I started 2018 off by making a bucket list of my top 5 travel destinations to inspire me and my husband to travel more. I’ve always loved to travel, it tends to be a way for me to escape the chaos of everyday life. Many people travel for various reasons, but no matter how much planning goes into it, one thing is for certain, you get a chance to get away and just relax!
Traveling really does allow you to take a break and just focus on yourself and the memories being made. It gives you the opportunity to focus on what truly matters to you and just enjoy the 4 or 5 days that you are away from home. So here is a list of my top 5 travel destinations for 2018 and why they should be yours too!
Sydney, Australia – If you ever get the chance, be sure to take a trip down under. I’ve seen so many beautiful pictures of Australia in its self and not to mention they are famous for the amazing wildlife there. Australia would really be the perfect place to just get away and escape reality because it is unlike any other!
Germany – Germany has so many things to offer but the beauty is truly in the architecture of the buildings. Walking up and down the streets can be an adventure, as you will never see buildings as beautiful in the US. Plus I’ve heard they have amazing food, so if you ever have the opportunity make sure to grab your lederhosen’s and catch the next flight!
Nashville – Although many people think of a relaxing vacation as escaping to a foreign country or the countryside, I have always wanted to travel to Nashville, Tennessee. I’ve always loved country music, and I’ve heard that their hospitality is out of this world. So to me, the perfect vacation would be to experience all of the southern comfort food and enjoy the old world of country music.
Iceland – This is probably one destination that is at the top of my list, but that will honestly take me longer to get there than I’d wish. However, I hope that one day I will make it here. Many people don’t know but Iceland is actually a good majority filled with beautiful open fields rather than ice. Nature there is just exquisite and not to mention Iceland is famous for their relaxing hot springs, so just take a look for yourself and you will want to dive right in!
Portland, Oregon – As many of my other top destinations, Portland has a beauty that nowhere else can quite capture. It has the most beautiful forests that are just captivating and make you really believe that there has to be a God to create something like this. The city has a ton of different attractions to offer, but honestly, my main reason for wanting to go is because of the landscaping!
