Welp, it’s finally 2018 and I’ve set my usual same New Years resolution of getting healthy. Do you always start the New Year, but have the same goals? Me too. I’m guilty of committing to the same New Years Resolution goals year after year and then somewhere around February, somehow forgetting what that Resolution was. With this year being a big year of changes for me, I really want to stick to my goals of getting healthier. I know, I know, it’s a resolution that almost everyone has. But in only 10 days I will be getting married and it’s my goal to start really focusing on my health as we plan to start a family within a couple of years.
But unfortunately I’m a really picky eater so getting my veggies in can be a tricky thing. Eating vegetables is so important to keeping your body healthy and rid of diseases such as breast cancer. So this is a highly important step in my resolution that I’m just going to have to suck up, and luckily I have full access to our Healthy Grocery Shopping List to help out. Sometimes though, the motivation can be hard to eat healthy and be mindful at every meal. One thing my Fiancé has recently got me hooked on is watching YouTube videos for literally anything and everything. If I want a new hairstyle, YouTube, if I want to do my makeup a little differently, YouTube, and if I want to feel inspired, I love watching TED talks on YouTube.
TED talks can be so informative and so inspirational, and really help you by giving you the pep talk you didn’t know you needed. Plus, there are so many different TED talks for a variety of topics. Topics that range from love life advice, to becoming the business man/woman you didn’t know you could be. These talks are perfect to keep you on top of your ‘A’ game when it comes to sticking to your New Years resolutions, especially if this might be your second or third year committing to the same goal. Check out one of my favorite inspirational talks below…
Whether you’ve set out to be healthier in 2018, or to focus more on yourself and well-being, I promise these TED talks can get you going in the right direction and keep you inspired for months to come! Hopefully I can stick to mine a little longer than February this year, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated. Cheers to the New Year, and cheers to sticking with your resolution this time around! Let 2018 be YOUR year!
