Let talk eyebrows.
I’ve gone through my trial and error of finally perfecting my eyebrows to my liking and let me tell you, it’s been a VERY long journey. I think I can speak for most women when I say that even though its literally just facial hair, eyebrows are something that is important to our beauty routine and the slightest change in them can make you look like a completely different person.
When you begin to lose your hair from breast cancer, it’s a hard thing to come to terms with. I’ve heard the stories and I’ve seen the pictures our beautiful ladies we work with have sent in. Though I don’t have firsthand experience, I can only imagine the inner struggle you have to deal with to lose something that is such a large part of your outer beauty. Although it seems small compared to your journey of bettering your health, women STILL want to feel beautiful and that’s okay!! When I first started with BCCA, I had a conversation with a very special woman that I had the pleasure of speaking with after receiving one of our Feeling Beautiful Again Bags. She told me how she had an encounter where someone told her it was selfish to care about your looks when your fighting for your life. To anyone who reads this and who has been faced with Breast Cancer, it is NEVER selfish! Cancer takes such a toll on your life, your family, your health. It is okay to love and take care of yourself, it’s okay to want to feel or look pretty and feel good about yourself!
Some time in our life we have all been faced with the questions “How do I fill in my brows? “what products do I use, and which are the best?” I am here to (hopefully) answer those questions since I have gone through about every eyebrow product sold in major retail and beauty stores. LOL!
