With today being Fitness Friday, I really didn’t know where to start or what to even talk about. I am not someone who loves fitness or working out, but I definitely want to take care of myself and my body as well as be healthy to prevent all kinds of diseases. Because after all physical exercise can help reduce your chance for all diseases including breast cancer by up to 25%, so it’s extremely important to get moving!
Working out has always felt like a chore to me and I definitely never have the energy to go once I am off work, so I have tried all kinds of different workout regimes to get myself motivated and into an actual routine, but as always, they seem to fade away after a period of time. So, I’ve been trying a different tactic. With my wedding coming up in January, I’ve been determined to find something to get myself into better shape. After all they don’t call it “Sweating for the Wedding” for nothing!
My favorite thing to do in my down time is surf Pinterest, as does any girl, for different things to do and try. I’ve really become a fan for what Pinterest calls the Lazy Girl Fitness Hacks. They take all of about 15-20 minutes and they don’t require any weight machines or cardio (thank goodness). They are typically just moves that help you tighten and tone muscles using your body weight.

- 30 secs: Jumping jacks
- 30 secs: High knees
- 30 secs: Jack squats
- 1 minute: Plank
- 30 secs: Tricep dips
- 30 secs: Push-ups
- 30 secs each leg: Donkey kicks
