igopink-scholarshipiGoPink/The Breast Cancer Charities of America announced that they will be raising their annual iGoPink Scholarship amount to $15,000 for one student in the greater Houston area for the 2018 year. The iGoPink Scholarship is open to high school graduates, or current college students, whose primary caregiver has been affected by breast cancer within the last year.

“iGoPink/The Breast Cancer Charities is about changing the lives of women and their families who have been impacted by breast cancer” stated Erica A. Johnson, Founder & Executive Director, iGoPink | The Breast Cancer Charities of America.  “This level of scholarship is truly life-changing; when breast cancer strikes a caregiver, it impacts the entire family.   Many times families can’t afford higher education and the cost of breast cancer treatments.  It is our goal in providing this scholarship that we will alleviate that burden for one family in the Greater Houston area and allow a student to continue to pursue their higher education.”
