Starbucks Drinks That Won’t Ruin Your Diet
Like anyone who wakes up early daily for work and hates mornings, I’m a Starbucks lover. I’ve been a gold card holder since college, when my coffee intake was at an all time high. Also at an all time high in college was my metabolism, which meant I could get away with those million calorie drinks. Now, not so much. I wanted a way to get my fix, but without all the sugar and empty calories. Here’s some of my personal favorite drinks with a healthier twist!
Skinny Flavored Latte (vanilla for me!)
So this is definitely a higher calorie content than some others you’ll see on here, BUT the sugar is 0 and the protein is 12! If you’ve just GOT to have your sweet fix, tis is a pretty good option.
Grande: 120 calories, 0g fat, 160mg sodium, 18g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, 12g protein
See above because pretty much same 🙂
Grande with nonfat milk (you can also substitute for coconut milk): 130 calories, 0g fat, 150mg sodium, 19g carbs, 0g fiber, 17g sugars, 12g protein
Pike’s Place Black Coffee
I used to load my coffee with about a gallon of creamer, but now I can barely stomach any. Is this growing up? Add your own almond milk and stevia if you have a sweet tooth but still want to keep calories low.
Grande: 5 calories, 0g fat, 10mg sodium, 0g fiber, 0g sugar, 1g protein
Cold brew is less acidic than regular coffee, and isn’t too bad for you if you don’t drown it in sugar! I like mine with some cinnamon and a splash of coconut milk!
Grande: 5 calories, 0g fat, 15mg sodium, 0g fiber, 0g sugar, 0g protein
Teavana Shaken Iced Passion Tango Tea (Unsweetened)
This drink is perfect for hot days when you need a refresher. Another way I love to drink mine is with half iced passion tea and half green tea!
Grande: 0 calories, 0g fat, 10mg sodium, 0g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, 0g protein
Passion Fruit Tea (Unsweetened) + Coconut Milk = Healthier “Pink Drink”
You’re probably well aware of the Pink Drink craze. I myself LOVE it, but when I saw that it was basically pink sugar water, I changed it up a little bit. Ask for a grande passion fruit tea unsweetened and add coconut milk for the great taste without the 20g of sugar.
Grande: 20g sugar
Whether you’re a tea or coffee person, try these healthier Starbucks options next time you need caffeine!
