Friday’s are always the best. But this Friday, June 23rd, is going to be better than the best. Because it’s National Wear Pink Day! I’m not quite sure why I am a sucker for national days, but this one seems to be the best. Pink is the official color of breast cancer awareness and what better way to support breast cancer education and the women who have been touched by breast cancer by including it in your Friday wardrobe?
I will say this was a hard blog to write because I literally had 20 pink clothing items, accessories, make-up on my list to share with all of ya’ll. But I have narrowed it down to my top four picks!
I’m all about this dress. It’s great to spend your workday in on a casual Friday, slip on some cute sandals and slick back your hair into a low pony and you’re good to go. What I love about this dress is that it’s that subtle baby pink and the florals.
I love a good shade of pink lipstick or lip gloss on a daily basis. Burt’s Bees has a whole new line of organic lip colors that you can rock all year round. This shade is Iced Iris and is a must for National Wear Pink Day.
Here in Houston, we are diving straight into hurricane season and rain gear is a must for getting anywhere [semi]dry. And of course, on Friday it is supposed to rain like crazy. Good thing I’ll be able to keep all my pink nice and fresh under this adorable Kate Spade umbrella (which is pink of course).
First off this cute clutch can convert into a crossbody because we all need a little versatility in our lives. And secondly it is under $20.00. This is a great way to incorporate pink in your outfit on National Wear Pink Day without going overboard. It’s also a perfect accessory for the whole summer think spending the day on the boardwalk or grabbing an ice cream cone with your best buds! Also when shopping on Amazon be sure to shop at smile.amazon.com and select BCCA as your charity for a proceed of your purchase to go towards supporting some of your favorite program services 😊
I cannot wait to see all the cute ways everyone incorporates Pink into their day on Friday. Be sure to tag us on social media and use #igopink #nationalwearpinkday
