Raise your hand if you are a sweaty person *raises hand and reveals embarrassing pit stains*. Ok so maybe you are not as sweaty as I am, but you probably work up a good perspiration during your workout routine. Whether you are hitting the gym, going to yoga, or just experiencing a seriously nerve-racking moment the results always seem to be sweat. I am guilty for using an aluminum filled deodorant not only during my workouts, but for literally everyday wear. Now it’s time to hunt for my next natural beauty/exercise purchase and I have been doing some research on these sweat defenders. Whether you are a current breast cancer patient, survivor, or just a woman who wants to live a healthier and clean lifestyle I’ve got a list of natural deodorants to use for your next workout. Natural deodorants are free of harsh chemicals, supporting your workout habit with a clean, aluminum-free sweat!
While there is no direct scientific link to traditional deodorants and breast cancer (or cancer in general) it seems that the options for natural, high-quality health and beauty products have come such a long way in the past decade. So, with all the great newbies out there, I am deciding to do my body a favor and move closer to a cleaner health and beauty routine and starting this with my deodorant.
I first learned about Fat and the Moon when they donated mini deodorant for our Feeling Beautiful Again program. They were the perfect little treat for the ladies to receive and they smelled amazing!
Meow Meow Tweet is also another great Feeling Beautiful Again donor. While I didn’t get the chance to check out their deodorant, they sent over some amazing natural lip balms (so I’m sure the deodorant is purr-fect too, haha).
When doing a search for natural deodorants I came across Lulu Organics, and honestly chose to feature it because I am a sucker for beautiful packaging. The jar looks like something you would find at a high end spa, so pretty.
I personally am OBSESSED with the smell of deodorant. But if you are looking for something fragrance-free I would go for Schmidt’s. It got amazing reviews and they are pros when it comes to deodorant. Check out their website for all the fragrance and fragrance-less options they have.
