I have been on a huge ice cream kick lately, but I always try and talk myself out of my cravings because let’s face it, ice cream just isn’t good for us. With its high amount of sugar and processed flavoring, the delicious treat just isn’t nourishing for our bodies.
So, I set out to find an alternative sweet treat to cure my ice cream cravings, but with a much healthier benefit! I found so many smoothie recipes but the consistency just wasn’t as creamy as I hoped to really resemble ice cream. But after scrolling hours through Pinterest, I found a GOLD MINE via MamaShire’s blog! Not only did the picture call out to me but so did the title!
BLACKBERRY VANILLA FROSTED LEMONADE…. Doesn’t that sound delish?!
This frosty treat is dairy-free, sugar-free and filled with antioxidants that are so important for your body when trying to fight diseases such as breast cancer. Plus, it’s absolutely AMAZING!

Blackberry Vanilla Frosted Lemonade:
2/3 cup unsweetened almond or cashew milk
¼ cup lemon juice
½ teapson of Stevia
2 pinches of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ cup blackberries, fresh or frozen
3 cups ice cubes
Put lemon juice, milk, stevia, salt, and vanilla in blender.
Turn on low for just a few seconds to blend together.
Add blackberries and ice cubes
Blend on high until completely blended and ENJOY!
